Where artistry meets emotion.
I am originally from outside of Springfield, Missouri, but East Tennessee is now home, where I share my life with my best friend and husband, Brendan. We joyfully tied the knot in 2022, and he’s the kind of person who brings happiness wherever he goes, making friends everywhere (even at our bank). Though I joke about convincing him to be my pack mule or the ultimate party starter, he prefers to keep his dance moves reserved (feel free to request them—I promise, he’ll appreciate the challenge).
Photography wasn’t always the plan after high school. I grew up on the movies Twisters and Jurassic Park. As a kid, I wanted to be a storm chaser. Science, however, was never the right fit for me (#artmajor), so an elementary art teacher, graphic designer, or potter seemed like the natural route.
In 2020, an unexpected photo-session fundraiser for a Young Life trip to Nepal led me to pursue photography more intentionally. Although the trip was canceled due to the pandemic, the experience ignited a new chapter in my career. Photography had long been a hobby, but this moment transformed it into a profession. Around the same time, I was finishing a degree in graphic design—an education that has since become an essential part of my work, influencing my visual style.
Weddings are energetic, unpredictable, and full of real moments. Which is exactly where I thrive. I aim to capture each day with intention and an artistic eye, letting moments unfold naturally. When couples embrace the flow of their day, the photographs speak for themselves.

In 2020, life took an unexpected turn when a photo session fundraiser for a Young Life trip to Nepal led me to pick up a camera again. Although the trip was ultimately canceled due to the pandemic, this detour sparked a new love for photography. By then, I had almost finished a degree in graphic design, and though my degree didn’t seem immediately relevant, that knowledge has turned out to be invaluable. It’s shaped the way I frame photos, helped me create this website, and even my client guides for couples.
